SPEAKER_00:

Spirit of truth, we ask that you will teach all of us. I am just a vessel, I am just a pencil, I am just an instrument, but you are indeed the master teacher, the master rabbi that will teach all of us and open our hearts to be receptive, oh God, and our minds to be attentive, to receive and believe your word. Lord, help us to delight in your word, to treasure your word, to value your word, oh God. Because in your word we're able to pray. In your word, we're able to learn about you. In your word, we'll be able to learn about certain things that you want us to become, Heavenly Father. So give us our desire, O God. Even as we leave this place to continue in your word, this we ask in Jesus' precious, powerful name, we have prayed. Amen. Um obviously we're all familiar with this theme of humility. It's all over the scripture from the Old Testament all the way down to the New Testament. It's it's a character trait that is applicable in leadership, in ministry, also in relationship. You know, in relationship, because sometimes when spouses are not humble to each other and they allow pride to get in, it really causes so much problem in relationships. So humility is a powerful trait that is applicable actually in every aspect of life. And we see it's a key um trait in Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ actually penosified humility and and and Satan penosifies pride. You see, the opposite of humility is pride, and we have Jesus Christ who possesses humility, and then we have Satan who possesses pride, and as a result of pride, Satan was brought down, and as a result of humility, Jesus was brought up. So let's let's just uh contrast between the Son of Man and the devil when it comes to humility and pride. Um, what is humility? Because for me, I like to share the definition of a word before we um digest and um look look at more details. So humility from the scriptural reference is pretty much a very simple term, it means low, low lowness, lowliness of mind, uh lowliness in posture, um, to be lowly to be brought low. You know, it means to be anything low. Um, it could be lowliness of mind, and also it's it's you having a modest sense of your own worth compared to God, you know, you evaluating yourself compared to God, not compared to other person, but compared to God. Because sometimes we tend to be proud um when we compare ourselves to other people, you know, because we have what they don't have, you know, we are smarter than them. But when it comes to you and God, there's no way you can be proud before God. That's why the Bible constantly tells us be humble before God, be humble before God. Because if you start coming to God thinking that you're on the same level as God, believing me, God is gonna reject you, we can do that to each other, but not so with God. That's why God immediately rejected Satan. Because there's no way, humanly speaking, even as an angel, you can compare yourself with God. You must be you must be out of your mind. So that's why the Bible constantly said when we come to God, we should humble ourselves. Because when we have that esteem of who we are compared to God, we don't match up at all. So, in that sense, when we approach God, we have to be in a in a in a humble state, meaning that we have to lower ourselves compared to God, we have to abase ourselves, we have to feel like we're unworthy in the sight of God, which is actually true compared to who God is, his nature, his character, his power. There's no way, there's no way. God is like an elephant, you guys were like an ant. Even using the elephant description about God, it's just it's even uh I can't even imagine. So, what is the nature of humility? There, there are two components of humility that I've observed is that um honesty actually um is the root of humility. Honesty is the root of humility because it's you telling the truth about yourself. So the root of humility is honesty. You being honest, honest about who Brian is, who Tina is, who Alice is, who Angel is, who Pastor Edith is, telling God that God, this is who I am. Telling God about your good, your bad, your beautiful and your ugly. Most times when you're an arrogant person, you only present your good and your beautiful. You know, you neglect your ugliness, you neglect your badness. Everybody has this four components beauty, beauty, ugliness, bad, and good. But when you're on an honest person, you express everything to God, and when you're a sincere person, you'll be transparent to let people know that hey, this is all about me, this is the true nature of who I am. So honesty is indeed the root of humility, and the result of humility is honor. So humility does not diminish your significance, even though, yes, you're bringing yourself low does not mean that you're nothing. Because most times people think that people display outward appearance of humility. Oh, let me let me bow down before the minister, or let me um pretend as if I'm nobody. No, that's not the mindset of humility. Humility is that you know your worth, you know your position in Christ Jesus, you know who you are, what you're capable of, but you don't treat people as if they're nothing. You don't treat people as if they're dogs, because they're also made in the image and likeness of God. It's you know your worth, your position, the power that you possess, the potential and the purpose that you have, but you also know the worth of the next person beside you. So humility does not diminish your significance. Even though, yes, I said I stated yesterday that the two components of humility are um submission and service, it does not mean that you're less of anything. You're actually a man or a woman of power, you're actually a man or woman of potential. That's why you're serving. Because those who serve have potential, those who serve have something to give, those who serve have substance. So those who don't serve don't really have anything. So when you when you when you're humble, you're saying that hey, I have so much in me and I'm willing to serve people, and that's exactly what Jesus Christ is. He has so much in himself, he has so much to give to the world that he was willing to serve to pour himself into us. So, yeah, um, honesty and um honor, these are um some of the things that we can obtain from from humility. Let's look at some examples in the Bible when it comes to demonstration of this attitude, this mindset, this characteristics of humility. If you observe, because I looked at the the book of um Genesis all the way down to um Chronicles, and I looked at several men of God in the Bible from Abraham all the way down to Solomon, and I I I I observed certain statements that they made, and and this statement actually is where I got the definition of what humility is. The first statement that I observe, this this is this is this statement uh came from Abraham in Genesis chapter 18, verse 27. I'm just gonna list all the statements. At least you guys can have this when you have time. You can go in your own Bible time and and look at them. Who am I? Who am I? That's an attitude of humility, that's a voice of humility. Who am I? Who am I? I'm not worthy. It is not in me. Who am I? Who am I? I am a little child. Who am I? So all this statement of who I am, who am I, so so much reputation of who I am, and I'm a little child, it is not in me. These are all statements from servants of God, and these servants of God are great servants of God. So humility is key to success. Humility is key to greatness. So when people tell you to be humble, God is telling you the secret for success. Really, the secret for success is not you going out there lying on your resume, it's not you going out there trying to speak well of yourself, it's not you going out there trying to climb the ladder of success, treating people anyhow, looking down on people. No, that will only get you that far. But humility is one of the keys to success. So, all of these men of God in the Bible, they could they questioned themselves, they were very honest with themselves. Who am I? I am not worthy, it is not in me. I am a little child. When I looked at this statement from these uh several servants of God: Abraham, Moses, Jacob, David, Solomon, these are all great servants of God. And I'm like, look at the kind of statement that you're making concerning themselves, how they esteem themselves before God. So they were making this statement not before men, because before men they are great. Before you and I they are great, but before God, if you don't humble yourself before God, God will bring you down. That's what the Bible says when we get to heaven, we will have crowns. But what's gonna when we are rewarded with our crowns, we're gonna lay down our crowns before the one on the throne and before the Lamb of God. And the reason why we are laying down our crowns so that we don't become cocky like the devil, thinking that now we can replace God, thinking that now we are God. That's what we have to lay down as a sign of submission, service, as a sign of humility. Like I said, humility, the actual word means to bring low, to bring down. So we have to lay our crown of greatness, our crown of victory, our crown of power when we're in heaven. We have to lay it down before the king of kings, before the Lord of Lords. So these great men of God in the Bible, they were making this type of statement in the presence of God, before God, comparing themselves before God, esteeming themselves before God, not before men, because they know their worth. But when it comes to God, they have no choice but to humble themselves, their accomplishment, their grace, their gift, their anointing. They cannot they cannot tell God, God, you know what? I've attained this level of success, I've attained this level of success in ministry as a result of my own merit, as a result of my own hard work, as a result of my connections, as a result of my resources, say, God, who am I? You're giving me this ministry. Who am I? You're giving me this greatness. Who am I, you're giving me this riches? Who am I that you're you're you're pouring out your love for me? Who am I that you're showing your glory to me? Who am I, God? Not because I am better than Esau, like Jacob. Who am I? David, I'm better I'm not better than Saul. Solomon, who am I? I'm not better than Absalom. But God, it's because of you. So now let's look at each of them. Abraham in Genesis chapter 8, verse 27. Then Abraham answered and said, Indeed, now, I who am but dust and ashes, have taken it upon myself to speak to the Lord. Can you imagine? Abraham was trying to intercede on behalf of Lot because God said, God actually gave Abraham the opportunity to have such a conversation. You don't just go and stand before God and speak, anyhow. You don't just go and stand before God and sing your praises. No, you stand before God singing the praises of God, not you. Ministry is not about you. The all mark of an adult, of a matured adult is that when you realize that life is no longer about you. When you're a child, life is about you. When you're an adult, life is no longer about you because you have dependence. An adult realizes that I am responsible for those who God has put around me. If you're still selfish, self-centered, these are all signs of pride. You're a child, you're really a child. That selfish nature of a child, they also have that humble state of dependency, but sometimes that selfishness comes in place. So God gave Abraham this opportunity for Abraham to talk to him because God is full of mercy, God wanted to extend grace to what pertains to Abraham because God was about to destroy Sodom and Gomorrah, but Abraham had a family member in that land, and God said, Can I hide anything from my friend? Wow. Humility brings you closer to God, humility helps you to relate with God. Pride, God can reject you. So Abraham said, Ah, God, look what you're about to do. Who am I? I'm just dust and ashes. To take it upon myself to negotiate with God, to take it upon myself to try and convince the mind of God not to destroy people in Sodom and Gomorrah. Who am I to even speak to God when God knows exactly what to do? That's a humble man. That's humility speaking. That's the mindset of humility. Abraham esteeming himself before God. Abraham comparing himself his unworthiness towards God. Some of us will stand before God. God, you know what? You must bless me. Now we're so arrogant, we're so entitled or rented in this generation. Oh God, you know what? I go to church every day. God, you know what? I wake up every morning. God, you're supposed to bless me. Oh my God. Even for you to wake up this morning, it takes the grace of God. That's why when God has lifted you up, be humble, be humble. Because you can easily lose everything. Do you know why? Do you know why God allowed Paul to be buffet? Because Paul had so much revelation. Paul had so much experience with God. God said, you know what? Every human being we have the tendency. I don't care who you are. We all have the tendency when we are successful, when we are elevated in life, when we have achieved so much, now we think that we're gods. We think that we're gods. We can talk to people anyhow. We can treat people anyhow. That is why Paul had so much spiritual power, so much spiritual achievement. God said, You know what, Paul? I know you're very spiritual. I know you're very matured, but you're still a human being. You still have that tendency of pride. That's why Paul said, What I want to do, I don't do. What I don't want to do is what I do. Oh, wretched man that I am, who can deliver me from this? And then he said, Glory be to Jesus. Even Apostle Paul, God had to humble him. God had to humble him for his own protection so that God does not reject him, so that God can continually extend grace. Because the Bible says he resists the proud and he gives grace to the humble. So if you want the grace of God every single day, humble yourself. In heart, in attitude, in your character, in your actions, in your decisions, in your approach, in your posture, in your mannerism, humble yourself. And the next person is Jacob in Genesis chapter 32, verse 10. I am not worthy of the least of all the mercies and of all the truth which you have shown your servant, for I cross over this Jordan with my staff, and now I have become two companies. This was Jacob. The contents of this verse came from when Jacob was planning to approach Esau. There have been blood brothers with envy, with jealousy, with hatred, to the point of murder. And Jacob was not able to confront his brother because he knew what it did to his brother. You know, now he's saying that God, you have shown mercy. Everything that I've attained in this life is true deceit. But you have shown me mercy. I'm not worthy of your mercy. How many times you and I, how many times we fail God, how many times we lie, how many times our hearts are so wicked. You comparing yourself with people, it's just foolishness. It's foolishness. Because what the finger that you're pointing in that sister or in that brother, that same finger is pointing to you. Just because you don't struggle with lust doesn't mean that you don't have something that you're struggling with. You might be struggling with pride, but nobody's seeing it. You might be struggling with unforgiveness, but nobody's seeing it. But your outward appearance is as if you're so holy than everybody else. So Jacob was saying that God, I have done so much, but so much wickedness, so much deceit, so much lying, so much manipulation. But your mercies, your mercies and truth. He said, I'm not worthy of it. Some of us were not worthy of anything. Me, I'm not worthy of anything. Because I know what what I do, I know where I came from. I didn't call myself. I didn't want, I didn't want I didn't want to have anything to do with Jesus. I hated Christianity because of how they use Christianity to enslave us as black people. If God did not intervene in my life, I would have disowned him. I would have I'm like, no, this Christianity is false, just like any other religion. But I didn't encounter Christianity, I encountered Christ. That's what made the difference because Christ was different. So Jacob is saying that God, I am not worthy of your mercy. We're not worthy of God's grace, we're not worthy of God's mercy, we're not worthy of God's goodness. All of these things that we obtain from God is because of God's grace. Even when we stand before God in heaven, like the man of God in the leadership training says something that I think that was just a reminder. Because I've been looking at the book of Revelation. When you have time, read the book of Revelation to see your Jesus in the future, who He is, He is a resurrected body, to have the nail print on his hands and feet, and the man of God was saying that to remind us of his accomplishment on the cross on our behalf. That is why the Bible says, the one on the throne and the Lamb of God, that is a sign of humility. Can you imagine Jesus? Jesus is gonna have that nail print on his hands, on his feet for eternity. You might think that his body is disfigured, but it's gonna have that testimony of being on the cross for eternity. It takes humility to see Jesus in that state of a middle point on his hands and his feet. Oh my god, that is indeed Jesus embodies humility throughout eternity. You and I will be standing before the lamb, not even the lion. The Bible would have represented Jesus as the lion. Yes, it is the lion of the tribe of Judah, but the Bible keeps saying in the book of Revelation that we will stand before the lamb. And the Bible says, Who is worthy to open the throne, to open the scroll? It didn't say the lamp, the lion, it didn't reference Jesus as the lion in that capacity. It says, Word is the Lamb, word is the Lamb, who is worthy to open the scroll, who is worthy to seal the scroll. Can you imagine? Because Jesus humbled himself, and as the result of humility is what honor.

Wow.

SPEAKER_00:

So Jesus is not just speaking off his head, he leaves it out that guys, for ministry, for leadership to build your home, exemplify humility. It's key. It's key. Let's go to the next person. That is Joseph. Again, these are all great servants of God. Some of them were prophets, some of them were patriarchs. Now Joseph is a governor, is a leader. Just because you're in leadership does not mean that, oh, now everybody looks up to you, you have authority, that you don't exercise humility. It's a lie. Joseph said in the book of Genesis 41, verse 16. So Joseph answered Pharaoh, saying, It is not me, oh God. It is the man. Pharaoh had a dream. Joseph said, interpretation is of the Lord. He said, He said, Pharaoh, it is not me. It is not me. Wow. It is not me. Just because you, as ministers, now you are performing signs and wonders. You are casting out demons. Oh my god, it becomes so powerful in your head. Oh, look at me, look how powerful I am. If you're not careful, people have to worship you, people have to book an appointment to come and see you. People have to give you gifts. I'm not saying that people don't book anything. I have nothing with them. But what is the reason why you're doing this? What is the reason why you're doing this? Joseph, a great man, a leader, a governor, a wealthy man. God gave him the gift of interpreting dreams, telling dreams and explaining them at the same time. And he's telling Pharaoh, Pharaoh, even though I'm able to tell your dreams, I'm able to interpret your dreams, Pharaoh, I am not the source of it. This gift that I have, I am not the source of it. That's why the Bible constantly reminds us that we are not the source of ourselves. We didn't create ourselves. We are still words of our gifts, we are still words of God's life. So you're not your own. The Bible said the Lamb bought us and redeemed us unto God. The Lamb bought us and redeemed us unto God. So we should live our life for God because we we were created by God and for God. We are responsible and accountable for God. That's why the Bible says, love the law with all. God wants you to give Him your all because you're not your own. That's why selfishness, self-selfenness, pride should have no place in your life as a child of God. Being bought with the blood of Jesus Christ, because you are redeemed, you are bought from the slave market of sin, from the slave market of sickness, from the slave market of death, from the slave market of your slave master Satan previously. So you're not your own. You have to let people know that, hey, me, I can preach, me, I can pray. It's not because of me, I never wanted to become a man of God. I never, I was never interested in knowledge. I was very stupid in high school. Book was never my thing. But when I gave my life to Jesus, I was so stupid that I said, God, I am stupid. I need wisdom in life so I can navigate my life. What God did was introduce me to the book of Proverbs. I spent most of my my 20s in the library while my friends were partying and having fun. Because I needed knowledge, I needed to have revelation, I needed to know God and myself and people in life. It is not you, child of God. You are in ministry because of God, you are here because of God and give what is due to God. The next person is Moses. But Moses said to God, Who am I? Again, who am I that I should go to Pharaoh? That I should bring the children of Israel out of Egypt. Ah, God, who am I? I'm a fugitive. I just kill people and I escape. And then you tell me to go stand before Pharaoh? This emperor? This king? God, who am I? God, who am I to even deliver your people out of Egypt? God, who am I? A fugitive. That's why don't ever discount people. Don't discount people based on your past. Paul was a murderer, Paul was a prosecutor. There's no sin that the grace of Jesus Christ cannot save and redeem. There's no one that God cannot redeem, the blood cannot redeem. There's nobody. Can you imagine? They are murderers in the Bible. Some of us will have not killed anybody. Can you imagine? Moses killed, David killed, Saul killed.

unknown:

Ah!

SPEAKER_00:

And these great men of God, God still use them. Hey, child of God, you are qualified for God to use you. No, no, no, not on the basis of your of your credentials, not on the basis of your capacity, not on the basis of anything that you have attained, but on the basis of who you are. Being honest with yourself that God, I am wicked. God, can you use this slanderer? Can you use this liar? Can you use this fornicator? I used to tell God, my God, how can I be a man of God? You know, I I'm I'm very lustful at times. I don't trust myself with women. God, how can I? How can I be a man of God? You know, I have my struggles with women, God. Women. Up to now it's the grace of God. God can use anybody. God can use anybody. Moses said, God, who am I? I'm a fugitive, I'm a killer to stand before Pharaoh and also to save, to deliver your people from Egypt. It's tomorrow. You know, and this is what God said about Moses when it comes to Marian and Aaron. That is why at times don't speak against your servants. Don't speak against your pastors. I learned this principle way back. Don't speak against men of God. Don't judge them. Even if you see their flaws, pray for them. Don't laugh at them. Don't laugh at them. Don't don't even Satan try to put a judgment on God's servants. Satan doesn't have any right to do that. So who are you, mortal man? Because these are servants of God. They are of God. Let God be the one to deal with them. But you, yes, you can you can you can speak to them in a very respectful way, in a very loving way, but don't you ever, ever dare speak heal against a man or woman of God. Believe in me, you will face God. Ever since God opened my eyes to realize that even if I see a man of God or woman of God, they have failed. I will pray for them. I will not laugh. I will not point fingers, I will not put them to shame. Don't ever, ministers or members, don't you are you are setting yourself up for disaster. Practice the the spirit of honor. Practice the spirit of honor. Remember why Noah cursed Am was because even though Noah was a great man, Noah was a prophet, Noah was a servant, Noah was strong, Noah was in his humanness. But guess what? His one of his sons saw the nakedness of his father and exposed the nakedness of his father. But the two sons, the Bible says they came, they cloated their father, and they hid their face from seeing the nakedness of their father. And they still honor their father. Which shows that even though we are human beings, the reason why we have to honor our pastors is because God honors them. The reason why we have to honor our ministers because God honors them. Why am I saying this? Because Mary and Aaron, these are two other ministers, too, who spoke against Moses because of his wife. Can you imagine? Mind your own business. We as members and other ministers mind our own business. Why would you try to mingle with the type of relationship that Moses wants? Moses wants a black woman, a beautiful, plumb-shaped, peer-shaped black woman from Utopia, from East Africa. And you're speaking against Moses because of that. For he had married an Ethiopian woman. So they said, as the Lord indeed spoken only through Moses. Can you imagine? Because of the relationship that Moses had. This is another time. Because of the relationship that Moses had, they disqualify Moses of being used by God. They question, the calling, the ministry of Moses. As the Lord indeed. Look at this mistake of mind the wrong woman. I don't care. A man of God will make a mistake. Pastor Edith will make a mistake. God has still called her. I am not we're not, we should not disqualify her because of her mistakes. I wish the ministers were here. We should not disqualify our Missumba when we see her mistakes. Even when we see her mistakes because she's a human being, God has still called her. The day we question her calling, that's the day some of us will have leprosies. In any kind, it could be financial leprosies. Fear God. Not because you fear her, you fear God because she's called by God. The Bible says she's a woman of God, of God. Anything of God, fear it. And he said, Has he not spoken through us also? Hey, he and the Lord heard it. Wow. Moses, Moses was not there. Hey God, Moses was not there. Now the man Moses was very humble, more than all men who were on the face of the earth. Can you imagine? Moses was very humble. Indeed, in real life, Moses is a very humble man. He had his own problem, anger issue. But he was very, very humble. Moses never uses power. Oh, because I'm the one who divided the Red Sea. No. Like our pastor said, Moses said, God, don't use me because I cannot speak. Moses said, God, who am I to stand before Pharaoh? I'm afraid of that man. It's so great. That's that's humility speaking. That's the voice of humility. And we see that in Moses. So all the great leaders in the Bible. One of the hallmarks of their greatness, their success, their leadership, their ministry is humility. This is a beautiful characteristic that God wants you and I to possess in upper road ministry. And finally, um David. The king said, the King David went in and sat before the Lord, and he said, Who am I? Oh Lord God, what is my house that you have brought me this far? Have you guys seen the consistency that I'm laying? The patterns in the Bible. You see, if you be a Bible student by observing patterns, when you observe these patterns, there are principles that you that are applicable. So the key to success according to the kingdom way, according to God's way, is based on character. You can have competences. People say, Oh, your gift will take you to the top, but your character will take you there. Sometimes you might not have the gift, but your character will take you there. So he says, Who am I, God? Who am I? What is my house that you have brought me this far? That is the voice of humility speaking, child of God. That is the mind of humility speaking. Who am I? My house. Hey, I'm from Uganda. God, who am I that you have brought me this far? Who am I that you have brought me into Canada? Who am I that you are establishment in Canada? That's the voice of humility. And finally we come down to Solomon 2, a great man. That's 1 Kings chapter 3, verse 5. At Gibeon, the Lord appeared to Solomon in a dream by night, and God asked, said, Ask, what shall I give you? And then Solomon said, Uh, let me jump down where he said, Um, oh, verse 7. Now, oh Lord my God, you have made your servant king instead of my father David. But I am a little child, I do not know how to go out or come in. And your servant is in the midst of your people whom you have chosen, a great people to mirror us, to be numbered and counted. Ah, ah, King Solomon is saying that God, I'm too small. Yeah, God has God has given us upper room ministry, so big. Ah, God, this this upper room to be 24 hours prayer altar. Ah, God, this is a big vision. Hey, this is bigger than my head. And any, this is how you know that you have the vision from God when it's bigger than your head. When it's bigger than your head, you cannot fathom it. That is from God. But when you can control it, it's your own vision. Because you're gonna need God, you're gonna need humility to say, God, you have given me a great vision for upper room ministry. It's bigger than me. I need you to bring people to work with me. Solomon is saying that, God, I'm just a little child. How do you even know how to take care of myself? And you have given me this responsibility. You see, your calling is not based on your ability, it's based on your willingness, which also, when you're willing, it shows that you have humility to say, God, I am eager to learn. I am eager to be trained, I am eager to be transformed. When you have that attitude, believe in me, God will say, You know what? You qualify to be called. Not because of your abilities, not because of anything else, but because of your willingness to say yes to God, because of your willingness to say, God, I'm ready to be trained, I'm ready to be taught, I'm ready for you to transform me. Attitude and action of humility is not superiority, but submission and service. Someone's superiority over you does not diminish your significance. What do I mean by that? Somebody can be superior over you based on your titles, based on your positions, based on your power, based on your status. But that should never cross in your mind that you're insignificant. No. You might have a manager over you, you might have a boss over you, you might have a senior over you, or you might have a pastor over you, you might have a minister over you. That should not diminish your significance. And we we in place of position should not diminish people's significance because we need your significance to be able to accomplish the great work that God has called us to do. So humility is you know your significance, but actually serving your significance and submitting yourself to others as well for you to obtain your significance. But when it comes to God, don't ever, ever lift up your crown, lift up your potential, lift up your accomplishment. Instead, lay it down to God. And the Bible says if you're gonna boast, don't boast in your riches, don't boast in your power, don't boast in your might, don't boast in your influence, but you should boast that you know God. That He's loving, He's kind, He's gracious, He's merciful, and God bless you. Thank you, Lord, for this opportunity. Thank you for your people. Lord, we're not just here to acquire head knowledge, but I pray that you instill this attitude, this posture, this art condition, this art transformation of humility because we know how vital it is for success, oh God. And we see it throughout the Bible and we see it in Jesus, our Lord and Savior. God, we want humility in our own personal lives. We want humility, oh God, in our power room ministry from the leadership all the way down, oh God. We ask this in Jesus' precious powerful name we have prayed. Amen. God bless you. Thank you so much for your time and your attention.
