DO NOT ABORT DESTINY
God's promise and purpose to Abraham was to make his descendants many and mighty. In the midst of hard labour slavery and male infanticide, we observe the significant roles played by four women in preserving the destiny of a nation and protecting a child of destiny named Moses, who will become the future deliverer of the children of Israel from Egypt.

I want to share with us as a church all of us together because we are all learning and the Holy Spirit is a teacher, he is the spirit of truth. Do not abort but hate your destiny. Do not abort but hate your destiny. Do not kill your destiny. Keep your destiny. Don't destroy your destiny. We're gonna look at Exodus. Baby Moses had three women in his life as a child who fought so hard to preserve the life of Moses, a child with destiny. Three women. I want to remind us as a church do not kill your destiny. That destiny is inside of you. And don't let anybody tamper with what God has put in you. We are gonna read from Exodus chapter one. I'll break it down to explain. So we grasp what the word of God is saying. Exodus chapter one from verse one to five. I read. Now these are the names of the children of Israel who came in Egypt. Each man and his household came with Jacob. Reuben, Simon, Leva, Judah, Asher, Zebalon, Benjamin, Den, Naptali, God, and Asher. All those who were descendants of Jacob were seventeen persons. For Joseph was in Egypt already. So the people that came to Egypt in total they were seventy people. This message is timely for us as Oparo ministry. The whole family of Jacob who moved and lived in Egypt, they were seventy in total. Okay? Now I'll move to verse six. And Joseph died and his and all his brother and all that generation. Jacob has passed away a long time. Joseph died, and his eleven brothers died, and all the generation also died. Okay. Now verse seven. But the children of Israel were fruitful and increase abundantly, multiply, and grew exceedingly mighty. And the land was filled with them. Child of God, from seventy people, seventy people coming to Egypt. And now the Bible is saying that the children of Israel were fruitful, increased abundantly, multiply, and grew exceedingly mighty, and the land was filled with them. There were few in numbers when they initially came to Egypt. Now look, look at the population of Israel in Egypt. There were many, not just in number, but the Bible stated that they were mighty. Okay? And that promise was extended to Isaac and Rebekah with just two sons.
unknown:Ah, God, child of God.
SPEAKER_00:You see, God is a God of progression. He will say something to you. You might not see it right away that God is just me and my husband with one child, and you're telling me that from this family there's gonna be a great nation. How is that possible? You see, God knows the future, God sees the future. The promise was made to Abraham. He didn't have any child, no child. God is making a promise to you that you're gonna be this, you're gonna be that, but your current situation doesn't look nothing like it. Your current situation doesn't look nothing like it. Do you know why the Bible says that it was accounted to Abraham? He was justified by faith because he believed in God. As the church here in Opera Ministry, we have no choice but just to believe in God. All the prophecies that men of God have prophesied about our church, we need to believe them. But it does not mean they will not come to pass. You know, God kept confirming whenever the patriarchs they were losing up, God would visit them. That I will uh this is the covenant I've made with your father, I will make you a great nation, I will do this, I will multiply you. He did that with Abraham, he did that with Isaac, he did that with Jacob. Now, what do we see here? The fulfillment of it, the fulfillment in Exodus chapter 1, verse 7. The promise that God made to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. We see the fulfillment right here in Exodus 1:7 that the children of Israel they grew exceedingly mighty, and the land was filled with them. He said, Your people will be like the stars. 70 people came to Egypt, but now look, they occupy the entire land. But guess what? There was a problem. There was a problem. When you are many and mighty, you will attract opposition, you will attract haters, you will attract people that don't like you. Certain people don't like to see people successful when God will raise upper room ministry. Many and mighty we should expect people that will come and question what type of power do we carry? We'll tell them that we have activation night on for on Friday. We will tell them that we have something in the evening on Sunday. Experience now, child of God. Look at this. Let me continue to read verse 8 now. Now there arose a new king over Egypt who did not know Joseph. This is scary. Okay, child of God. Do not abort destiny. Joseph and Moses, they are both deliverers. God sent Joseph ahead of time to save God's people from world-wild famine. Now, this new king, he's trying to do something to stop the growth, to stop the growth of God's people, to stop the growth of God's people. But in this time period, God raised a deliverer, just like he did raise a deliverer named Joseph. God is looking for deliverers. Are you a deliverer in your family? Are you a deliverer in this church? Are you here to deliver God's people from bondage? Are you here to deliver God's people from enslavement? It can come in any form: sickness, mental, spiritual, altars, financial. This new king arose, the Bible states that who do not know Joseph. He didn't know what Joseph has done for Egypt. He didn't know the position, the authority of Joseph. After Pharaoh is Joseph, even Joseph said that God has made me a father. A father. Can you imagine? Oh Marcoshan, God has made me a father to Pharaoh. And God also said to Moses, I will make you God to Pharaoh.
unknown:Wow.
SPEAKER_00:So why should we be afraid of Pharaoh? Joseph said, God has made me a father to Pharaoh. I tell Pharaoh what to do. Moses said, God has made me a God to Pharaoh. These are men who delivered their people. And he said to his people, Look, the people of the children of Israel are more and mightier than we are. Out of fear. No. Who are these people? Why are they so many? Why are they filling this place? The children of Israel they multiply, but a new king arose. He didn't know Joseph. Look what the Bible says in verse 10. Come, let us deal scrubly with them, lest they multiply, and it happened in the event of war that they also join with our enemies and fight against us. And so go out of the land. This was just a speculation out of fear. Out of fear, of envy, out of fear, of jealousy. They were just minding their own business, helping Egypt to grow, investing in Egypt. But guess what? This new king didn't know Joseph. And because of this, he enslaved God's people. He enslaved God's people. The Bible says in verse 11, therefore, they set tax masters over them to afflict them with their burdens, and they built for Pharaoh supply cities. They afflict them in building and making sure Egypt become industrious. They were using God's people for their own benefit. But the way they were using God's people to enslave them. When Joseph was around, they were shepherds. They live in Goshan. They were doing their own thing. Have you noticed here in Canada? Like I was praying. If you're not smart, you will not be able to fulfill your God-given purpose. You will come in this country, you will go straight to PSW. When you were somebody back home, you were not back home. Why are you settling for PSW? You were somebody back home. Oh something inside of you knows that you are better than this. Why are you settling? You have to refuse the mindset of settling down in this country. I refuse to settle down. When it's time for me to serve God, that time is is established, and I'm not gonna change it for no system. I'm not we're not gonna change it for any system. You have to be in charge of your life, you have to be in charge of your time, you have to be in charge of your destiny. No one is gonna give you that time, no one is gonna make time for you. You have to make time for your life, you have to make time for God. No one is gonna do it for you. Kenna is not gonna do it for you. They afflicted God's people. I like this in verse 12. But the more they afflicted them, the more they multiply and grow. Do you know why? Because they are children of covenant. When you're under covenant, people will try anything. What God has said, it will continue to happen. No man, no power. God promised that they will multiply in the midst of affliction, in the midst of persecution, they were still multiplying. It's like Nehemiah. While he was trying to build the walls back, Sambalat and Tobeya were fighting him. You see, what thing I've learned, child of God. We as believers, when you have a big vision, expect battles. There are people who are not gonna like the vision of this church, there are people who are not gonna like your destiny. Expect battles, but don't stop because of the battles, while you are walking, you are fighting, because that's what Nahemania was doing while he was building, he was fighting, while we are building up a room, we are fighting on our knees in times like this, because we have people like this new king. You understand the more we the more they feel like what good will come out of our church, or what good will come out of your life, that's the more God will show himself, so the more they were afflicted, the more they multiply and grow. And guess what happened? And they were in dread of the children of Israel. Wow, they were not afraid of them, this new king, you're trying to inflict us, you're trying to stop us, but God blessed them instead. The king and Egypt, they were afraid of God's people. Pharaoh should be afraid of you, mama. Pharaoh should be afraid of you. Don't be afraid of any stubborn Pharaoh. I'm begging you, don't be afraid. Now, he tried multiple things. The first thing that he did was slavery, hard liber. That was not enough. The next thing that he did was to kill, to kill, to kill the male newborn infant. And he said in verse 5, verse 16, uh 15, Exodus chapter 1, 15. Now look, then the king of Egypt spoke to the Hebrew midwives, of whom the name of one was Shifraf, and the name of the other Poah. Now look, you see, Satan is very stubborn. He will try the first thing, and if you persist, he will try something else. So now, what this king is trying is to kill the male newborn child, and he instructed the Hebrew midwives, Shifra and Puah, saying, When you do your duties of a midwife for the Hebrew woman, that is why God hates abortion. Women, do you know why Moses is alive? It's because of women. Pharaoh asked them, I want you to kill while you're doing your job. I want you to make sure that when a woman is giving birth, when that child comes out, that newborn, kill that child right away. Wow, don't make a sin because you guys are many and mighty. Don't make it a sin because you guys are many and mighty, but to reduce your population, let's start off by killing the male babies, and I want you, the woman, to do it because you guys are the midwives. If it's a son, then you shall kill him, but if it's a daughter, then you shall leave. Mixed marriage, allow the young ladies to leave, they can intermarry it with the Egyptians. If it's a boy, get rid of him. Because when it comes to war, who goes to war? Men. Who will stand before Pharaoh? Men. Now look. And the second the third attack now is in verse 22. It says, So Pharaoh commanded all his people, saying, Every son who is born you shall cast into the river, and every daughter you shall save alive. So three things that this new king did for against the children of Israel. Number one, enslaved them with work, kill the newborn by using the midwives, they refuse. Number three, now every son cast them into the river, allow them to drown, allow them to be eaten. That's where we have the story of Moses. How Moses was conceived. You understand? Now I like the fate of the midwives. This is where we're gonna look at some few examples and then we're gonna pray. The midwives said to Pharaoh, they fear God and did not do as the king of Egypt commanded them, but saved the male children alive. These were women who decided, you know what, king, we're not gonna do what you want us to do. These are our own people, our own children. We're not gonna kill them. And they made an excuse, they made an excuse if we have this type of mindset, we as black people, united Africans, saying that you know what? We're not gonna allow another culture to come in our community to tell us what to do, for men to fight against women, to take away our children. We have to stand on our guard. That is why I like my church because we pray for the communities. When somebody is sick in the community, we pray for them. Because that's what we want to be known for. We care about our community, we want to see our community grow. So these two women they feared God, not Pharaoh. God wants you and I to fear him. He wants you and I to fear him. No matter the situation, I know it's hard. When you obey God, guess what happens? God will bless you. And look what it says in 2020 21. Therefore, God dealt with well with the midwives, and the people multiplied. Again, oh my God, the more the more chaos, the more destruction. God's promise is being fulfilled because they are children of the covenant. And God bless these two midwives, and they became they became great themselves too. And God provided for their household. Let's finish up with Moses, how Moses was conceived. Exodus chapter 2, verse 2 to 10. So the woman conceived and bore a son, and then she saw that he was a beautiful child. She hid him three months. And the reason why this woman did this, Moses' mother did this, was because of the commandment of Pharaoh that the child should be thrown into the river. Moses' mother is so wise and strategic. But because Moses was a special child, that word beautiful doesn't mean like it, it doesn't really mean like beauty in face. It means special. This child is not ordinary. This child is well pleasing. So she saw something in this child. What she saw in this child, this same child is gonna be the deliverer of his people. That is why I said, don't abort your destiny. Don't abort your destiny. Moses' mother saw something special in Moses. The Bible states that she saw that this child was beautiful, this child was well-pleasing. This child is not ordinary child. There's something about this child that I need to preserve.
unknown:Wow.
SPEAKER_00:Who else is gonna be the savior? This is the savior, this is the deliverer. But this woman, oh my god, this woman is so sensitive to see something in that child. To see something in that child. What do you see in your child? What do you see in that newborn? What do you see in that infant? What do you see? May God open our eyes to see something. She preserved and protected this child in the midst of the commandment of Pharaoh. Three months, three months. She hid Moses. But when she could no longer hid him, she got tired. She took a hack of bulbishes for him, dubbed it with asphalt, and pitched, put the child in it, and laid it in the reeds by the river's banks. She's very strategic. She knew that this particular place, this is where Pharaoh's daughter will come and bathe. That hack represents shelter. That hack represents a shield of protection for Moses. Oh my God. The first two women, they fear God. Moses' mother, what we see here, what we can learn, she's a woman of faith. She's a woman of faith. Look what the Bible says. And his sister, again, Mariam, stood afar off to know what will be done to him. They were just acting by faith, hoping for the best. But while they were acting by faith, the mom was very strategic where she placed Moses, knowing that Pharaoh's daughter is gonna come at that point. And look what it says in verse 5. Then the daughter of Pharaoh came down to bathe at that river. Very smart woman. She placed Moses at the right time in the right place. Right time in the right place. And her medians walked along the riverside. And when she saw that, oh my, and you know what she did? She made sure that ark became so visible.
unknown:Wow.
SPEAKER_00:Moses was in that ark. Oh my god. Oh my god. She's the Bible says that. Oh, she saw, she saw, she saw the ark among the reeds. She sent a maid to get it. Okay, this is very strange. She's very smart and creative. What is this? I've never seen this before. And then she opened it and she saw the child. And behold, the baby wept.
unknown:Wow.
SPEAKER_00:That attracted her. So she the butt look what the Bible said. She had compassion on him and said, This one is of the Hebrew's children. This is what we call favor. Because don't forget, her father has already decreed, Oh my god. That's what the Bible put it, she had compassion. Ah God, she had compassion. Even though this child was an Hebrew, this child is destined to die. But the Bible states that Pharaoh's daughter had compassion because Moses is the child of destiny. Oh my god. God was behind the sin, woman of God. God was behind the sin. God was using Moses' mother to preserve his life. Because this child is gonna be the one to face Pharaoh in the palace. And this child has been taken right now in the palace, knowing that his future is gonna be facing Pharaoh in the palace. And then his sister said to Pharaoh's daughter, Oh my god, we want smart parents, smart mothers. She positioned Moses' sister, and she said to Pharaoh's daughter, Shall I go and call a nurse for you? From the Hebrew woman, and she may nurse the child for you.
unknown:Wow.
SPEAKER_00:And Pharaoh's daughter said to her, Go, this is God. This is God at work. This is God at work. So the Midian went and called, oh my God, a woman, mama. She's a oh my god, she's a woman of faith. She's a woman of faith. God causes all things to work together to those who he loves, to those who were called according to his purpose. And then finally, then Pharaoh's daughter said, Take this child away and nurse him for me, and I will give you wages. Oh my God. So the woman took the child and nurse him. God ensured that Pharaoh's daughter had compassion on Moses. Not only that, God ensured that Pharaoh's daughter provided for Moses. And then she named him Moses, saying, Because I drew him out of the water. What we see here, child of God, is if you are a child of destiny, if you are a woman or a man of destiny, you have a covenant with God. God will preserve your life. God will protect your life. Even God will use your enemies. God will use your enemies. We are gonna pray that God help me not to abort my destiny. Help me not to partake in aborting people's destiny.
