ARISE TO ACT AND ACCOMPLISH

We explore the biblical meaning of 'arise' through Scripture, illustrating how it manifests in real life: rising into authority and power, claiming God's promises, and escaping danger with wisdom. From Abraham to David to Joshua, the pattern remains: God awakens and activates, and we arise to act.

Opening Prayer For Receptive Hearts

SPEAKER_00

Father, as we're about to receive your word tonight, first of all, we want to say thank you because you have a word for each of us. We want to say thank you because you're the one who's gonna speak to all of us. Lord, you say the words that you speak, their spirit and their life. Man does not leave by bread alone, but every word that proceeds from your mouth. Lord, we're here to receive life from you. And I know you will speak life to every death situation in our life in the mighty name of Jesus. Father, there's power in your word. We're not just here for head knowledge, but we're here to know you from your word. We're here to believe you in your word, and we're here to live out your word so our lives can be transformed. Father, I just pray against every form of distraction, every sleepiness, every mind-controlling spirit, every demonic bird that wants to snatch that seed from our hearts. We stand against it in the name of Jesus. Let our hearts be that good soil for you to penetrate the rima of your word. We cannot change without you. Your word says, Let the word dwell in us richly. We want to be rich not just with money, we want to be rich in your word in us, in our lives being transformed. And lastly, Papa, your word says that we should not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of our minds. And the only way our minds can be renewed is through your word. We value your word, we respect your word, we treasure your word, we honor your word. We give you all the praise, we give you all the glory. In Jesus' precious name we have prayed. Amen. I just want to spend this time just to bless you, and then we are gonna pray again, okay? And then I'm gonna invite the woman of God. I think this message will be a blessing to you. Um arise to act and accomplish. Arise to act and accomplish. If you miss our morning glory services, Monday to Friday, we usually have a theme. And the theme for this week is Arise and um we deliberate on that theme throughout the week. Sometimes I'm there two days, and I highly recommend in the morning, you know. That's an opportunity for us to fellowship as brothers and sisters and really digest the work. So, on this same theme on Arise, I believe that God is speaking to all of us to arise, to act, and to accomplish. Arise in the Bible as a concept speaks to call to an action for certain individuals, whether a physical rising or a spiritual awakening. So when you see the word arise, it calls for an action for certain individuals for them to physically rise or a spiritual awakening for the purpose of accomplishing God's plan. Amen. What does it mean to arise in a biblical sense? It means to stand, to stand up, to fulfill, to set up, to erect, to build, to bring on the scene, to carry out or give effect to. So when we when we say arise, it means that you are sitting down. If you have been in the court, like I have been in the court, when the judge comes and there's a legal proceeding going on, you will hear the word arise, and everybody will do what will arise. Now, who has the right to ask you and I or stir within our spirit? Because arise in a spiritual sense to make yourself arise, so you need a power within you to activate or to stir up something for you to be in motion. So who asks us or who can activate that arising process according to the Bible? God. Most times God is the one telling individuals for them to arise. Meaning that these individuals are not able to arise on their own, so they need divine intervention for them to arise to accomplish something for God. Example, God said to Jacob, Arise. God instructed the children of Israel to arise. God called Joshua to arise. Now, do you know that individuals in the Bible ask God for God to arise? For example, David. David said, God, oh Lord, arise to do to so and so, arise to help me, I rise to fight against my enemies. God, arise, meaning that God, you are not taking any action. So when God is asking you to arise, God is saying that I want you to take action to accomplish something. Are you arising this year 2026 according to the plans that God has for you? Are you arising to achieve a particular goal in your life? Are you arising to occupy a position that God destined for you? So I'm gonna list a bunch of examples, instances where people arise in the Bible. Number one, arise to a position, meaning that you are entering into a role of influence, into a role of authority. And prophet Isaiah, speaking of Jesus, is quoted in Romans chapter 15, verse 7. It states, and again, Isaiah says, There shall be a root of Jesse, and he who shall arise to reign over the Gentiles. So to arise in this context means that you are arising to a position, even Jesus, the root of Jesse, the son of David, needed to arise to take his place to rule over the Gentiles. Another example, arise in power. Some of us we are weak, but God is saying that I want you to arise in power and authority. An example of that is Balaam, Numbers chapter 24, verse 17. I read, I see him, but not now. I behold him, but not near. A star shall come out of Jacob, a skepta shall arise out of Israel. Again, talking about Jesus. Jesus arise in position to be the ruler over the gentles. We see now Jesus arise in power because skepter symbolizes authority, symbolizes leadership. So Jesus arise in power to be the leader of Israel. That is why the Bible refers to him as the King of Kings and the Lord of Lord. But Jesus needed to arise to take action to occupy his rightful place. And now look what it says in Micah when it comes to arise in power. Yes, when I fall, I will arise. Look what it says. When you're in darkness, you cannot move. There's no direction, there's no light, there's no visibility. So Micah is saying that when I fall, I will arise. When I sit in darkness, the Lord will be my light to me. So for you to arise when you fall, for you to arise from darkness, you need the Lord to be your light. Some of us, the reason why we're we're sitting down in life, you can be sitting down in life in mediocrity, you can be sitting down in life in bad habits, you can be sitting down in life in sin. You can be sitting down in life with poverty, you can be sitting down in life with depression. Arise from your depression. Remember the lepers. They said if we if we sit here, we will die. But let us arise. You see, it takes God to activate, to stir up your spirit, but it also takes you to take the necessary step because God is not gonna make you to move from point A to point B. You have to make that effort. Partnership with God. In the context of to arise in power, look what it says in Upac chapter 2, verse 19. This is this is very interesting. Woe to him who says to the wood, that is now speaking to idols, you know, made out of wood. It says, Woe to him who says to the wood, awake to silent stone, arise, it shall teach. Be all it is overlaid with gold and silver, yet in it there's no bread at all. So, what about saying that? Woe to you who worships idols, and you're telling your man-made crafted idol from wood, awake. How can how can you tell this pulpit that is structured like this to awake? Woe to you for you to to tell a wooden sculpture to awake, and to tell a stone to arise to teach you. Because why? They don't have any power, they don't have any power. So if if you worship anything that is not God, that thing will not arise on your behalf. You have to speak to that that that entity, that substance that has no breath. And that thing cannot save you. When you're in darkness, who can you turn to to lift up your soul? When things are not working for you, David says, When my heart is overwhelmed, lead me to the rock that is higher than I. Do you know why David is praying that prayer? It was saying that God, I cannot lift up myself. Some of us we're down, we're not able to lift up ourselves. That's why God is saying that you need to arise, He will make it possible for you to arise. We need to arise as a church, and then another example to arise to possess, to arise to possess, meaning that to take hold of something, to take ownership of something. Look what it says to Abraham, Genesis chapter 13, verse 17. Arise, arise. This is God now commanding Abraham to arise because there's no way Abraham could possess the promised land if Abraham is just sitting down. Most of us, the reason why things are not working is because we're still sitting down. To arise means to stand up. God is saying, stop sitting down, stand up and move. Stand up and walk, stand up and progress, stand up and act by faith. Faith is a progressive movement. That's why they call it the walk of faith. The just shall live by faith. The dead cannot have faith. So if you are life, you have to live by faith. You have to walk by faith. So God is instructing Abraham, Abraham, arise, walk in the land. Abraham, I'm commanding you to arise and walk in the land. He said, Arise, walk in the land through its length. He said, Abraham, just just walk around this land. Look at the length, look at the breadth, look how wide this land is. Just walk around and it's width, for I give it to you.

unknown

Wow.

Arise And Escape Real Danger

SPEAKER_00

But for Abraham to possess this land, Abraham needed to do what? Arise by the instruction of God. Arise. Abraham, stand up, make a move, walk. Some of us were stuck in one job, some of us we are stuck in one ministry, some of us we are stuck with one skill, and you refuse to arise and expand. That is why your life is not moving forward. Because you are stuck, you're sitting down, you have to do what? Arise and walk and possess. Another example when it comes to arise to possess is David. Look what it says in Psalms 78, verse 5 to 6. For he established a testimony in Jacob and appointed a law in Israel, which he commanded our fathers that they should make them knowing to their children, that the generation to come might know them, the children who will be born, that they may arise and declare them to their children. So, what this verse is saying is that David is reminding the children of Israel that God has given the commandment to our fathers, and God has instructed our fathers to teach our children, and God is expecting the children to arise and teach their children. To arise, meaning that they will have the commandments and do nothing about it. What we are doing in this church, one of our missions is family and youth, we empower them to arise and know the God that we serve, and then that way they can teach their children's children. You're possessing the word of God that can be transferred from generation to generation. Possession is not just material things, you can possess heavenly treasures that can be transferred, but you need to do what you need to arise, you need to stand up and make the necessary efforts. It's a call of action, it's not passive. God is expecting you to arise because you have been in this land for too long. Arise, get up and walk. Now, arise from problems, arise from problems. I know we like this one. Arise from problems. It means to find safety and security. There's an instance in the Bible with David. Look what it says in 2 Samuel chapter 15, verse 14. So David said to all his servants who were with him at Jerusalem, Arise and let us flee. If your enemies are pursuing you, they encamp against you. Child of God, you're just gonna sit down and do nothing. No, Absalom rebelled against David. There's a coup d'etat in Jerusalem. David said to his servant, guys, I am the king, I cannot fight my son Absalom. What we need to do, let us arise and do what? And flee. He's very wise, he's arising to flee from problems. Most of us will sit in problems and will talk in problems, we will chill in problems, watch Netflix and chill in problems, instead of us to arise and find safety and security. We need to apply wisdom in this capacity. David said to his servants, guys, let us arise and flee, or we shall not escape from Absalom.

unknown

Wow!

SPEAKER_00

In Jerusalem, in his own palace, his son rebel against him. There was no prayer and fasting because death was right there. He said, Guys, let us arise, let us stand up, let's take action and move, escape from our lives. So you can arise in this capacity, you can arise to flee from problems. Another example is Elisha. Look what Elisha says to the um Shumanite woman. He said in 2 Kings 8:1, then Elisha spoke to the woman whose son he had restored to life, saying, Arise and go and go. You see, when you hear that word arise, there's an action word, either to walk, to go, to flee. So you don't just arise, you stand up, and then you don't do nothing. No, you arise and then you take the necessary step. So Elisha is instructing this woman and his household that guys arise and go, you and your household, and stay wherever you can. For the Lord has called for a famine, and furthermore, it will come upon the land for seven years.

unknown

Wow.

Arise Into Calling And Assignment

SPEAKER_00

Some of us, God will give you a vision, God will give you a dream to show that hey, there's a pending danger ahead. What is your responsibility? To arise and take the necessary action to escape from that famine. So you arise to flee from problems. Apply wisdom. The prophet instructed this woman and her household that guys flee. Arise and go wherever you want to go. Seven years, God is gonna create famine. For seven years, what do you do? You arise and then you flee. And another example of to arise from problem is Lot. Genesis chapter 19, verse 15. It says, When the morning dawned, the angels hugged Lot to Horry, saying, Arise, take your wife and your two daughters who are here, lest you be consumed. You see, when God is commanding you to arise, it's for your own protection. When God is asking you to arise to do something, it's for your own safety. Do you know what happened to Lot's wife? She refused to arise, she looked back, she became a pillar of salt because of what? Disobedient. So, child of God, I'm here to remind us at times we need to arise from problems. We need to apply wisdom when God is speaking to us. Arise, flee, arise, stop doing this, arise, stop, stop, stop talking to this person, arise, stop doing this particular thing. It's for your own protection. I like this one. Arise into your property. An example is it means to arise to fulfill something. And I like what happened to Joshua after Moses' death. That is Joshua chapter 1, verse 2. Wow. Okay. Moses is dead. You see, the reason why God at times will speak this word arise is because if God does not speak, things will be stagnant. If God does not speak, nothing will move. If God does not speak, there will be no progress. So what happened? Moses is dead. The leader is dead. There's a promised land. There are lands to conquer. But Moses is dead. But God is so wise. God said, No, this mission, this plan, this purpose, this promise that I have for my children, I must fulfill it. But I need a man. I need a man that I can stir up. I need a man that I can command. Are you that man? Are you that woman that God is looking for? Look what God says to Joshua. He said, Moses, my servant, is dead.

unknown

Wow.

SPEAKER_00

Moses is gone. Moses is gone, Joshua. But there's something that you need to do. You guys need to possess the promised land. But look what it says. Now therefore, arise again, telling Joshua, said Joshua, arise into your assignment in life. For such a time, Joshua, you're not just a warrior, he was a warrior. Oh my god, he is also a leader. Because at this stage, God needed a warrior and a leader. Because Moses was a prophet and a leader, and Moses is gone. Now God is saying that Joshua, you are created for such a time like this. Because Moses has prepared you already. You are a leader and a warrior at the same time. Because I need you to arise, go over this Jordan, you and all these people, to the land which I am given to them. Because you have to fight. And only you, Joshua, can do it. You are going to be a leader and you are going to be a fighter. But I need you to do what? Arise. Because Moses is dead. Who's going to take over? You see, that's why I said that. When you study that word arise, most times God is the one telling people to arise. That's going to be our prayer point. God, which area in my life that you want me to arise into? God, which area in upper room ministry that you want us to arise? Because we might think we are we are standing up, we might think we are moving. But when God speaks, arise, upper room ministry. God, where he will tell you, arise and conquer this, arise and evangelize, arise for food bank, arise for prayer, arise to accomplish something. He said, Joshua, Moses is dead, but I want you to arise and take over. Amen. Another example of somebody who arise into their purpose is the burah and barak. Look what it says in Judges chapter 5, verse 12. Awake, awake, the burah. Wow. Awake, awake, the burah. Deborah, wake up. Deborah is talking to herself. Awake, awake, the burah. Awake, awake, sing a song. And he says, Arise, Barak. Oh God. And lead your captives away. Wow. So to arise in this sense means to fulfill your purpose, your divine assignment. Most of us, we are still stagnant in our destiny. We have to be awakened. We have to arise. Deborah is saying that awake, awake, spiritual. Because Deborah was the one who she's the prophet. She was the one who received the instruction from God. And then she relayed that instruction to Barak. But Barak was being a chicken, saying that I'm not gonna fight. And then and then Deborah said, if you're not gonna fight, Barak, a woman is gonna fight. Do you want me to give your glory to a woman? Then Barak said, No what, Deborah? You have to go with me to fight. So that is why. See, see what Deborah was doing. Deborah was saying that Barak, you refuse to fight, you refuse to fulfill the purpose. But she was speaking life into Barak. She said, Arise, Barak. That's a leader. Sometimes we need our leaders to see that word. Arise, upper room ministry, Musumba. Arise, ministers that you have not seen in church for so long. Tell them, arise in the spiritual sense. Because Barak didn't want to fight. Barak was afraid. Barak said, Deborah, you have to go with me to fight. But Deborah said, I'm I'm not a warrior. But you know what Deborah did? Deborah spoke into Barak. Barak, arise. Stand up into your purpose. Barak, fulfill your divine assignment. Barak, you are made for such a time like this, just like Joshua was. There's no time for us to waste anymore. Christ is coming very soon. We are in a we are right now where the world is going crazy. We need to arise and fulfill our divine assignment. Enough of sitting down. You need to arise to grow. You need to arise in your peace. You need to arise.

unknown

Barak.

Arise And Go For Someone Else

Arise And Shine With Visibility

SPEAKER_00

Arise, Barak. If Barak did not arise, guess what's gonna happen? Barak is not gonna lead the captives away. If you don't arise, there's not gonna be any solutions for other people. You have to arise into your destiny, you have to arise in your calling because people's lives are attached to your calling. Joshua. If Joshua refused God, who is gonna lead the children of Israel to the promised land? When God has invested so much in Joshua, Joshua was strained by Moses and Moses is gone. You see why it's so important, child of God, for you and I to arise. God is speaking. I don't know which area of your life that you want God to tell you to arise. It's important for you to arise because other people's lives are attached to your destiny. Because when you arise, it's a call of action for you to accomplish something. When we have seen all the instances, Joshua, arise, take my people to the promised land. Barak, arise and lead the captives free. Jesus, arise and be the king over the gentiles. Jesus, arise and be the king of Israel. Even Jesus was commanded to arise. So who are you? Who are you to sit down? Am I making sense? Another person that God commanded him to arise into his purpose is Philip. Look what it says in Acts chapter 8, verse 26 to 24. Now, an angel of the Lord spoke to Philip. Wow, I see a trend here. God is the one telling people to arise. If it's not God, it's God's prophets, like uh Deborah or somebody else or David, and then an angel. So you cannot make yourself arise because you don't even know what to arise to. God has to tell you to arise. That's gonna be our prayer point. That God, which area in my life that you're calling me to arise? You might think you have risen already. No, you have to do uh a reflection, an inner reflection that God, this particular area of my life, it's as if I am dead. You have to tell God, God, which area of my life that you need me to arise. Now, the angel of the Lord directed the apostle Philip to get up. In Acts chapter 8, verse 26 to 27. It says, Now an angel of the Lord spoke to Philip saying, Arise and go toward the south along the road which goes over. You see, the angel was giving Philip an instruction. He said, Philip, because somebody had access to the Bible, but they have no clue what to do. Ah, I don't even know if you guys are catching what I'm saying. That oh god, I don't know, I don't even know. This arise is very powerful. That people's life are attached to you. If you're sitting down, no one is moving. We have seen everyone that God is saying, Abram, arise and see the land for yourself. Abraham, I want you to arise. Philip, you are an apostle of Jesus Christ. Arise and go to this man. Because Philip is an apostle, he has been assigned to spread the gospel message. There's somebody in Uthopia who has access to the Bible, but they don't know anything. So the angel said, Philip, I want you to get up, arise, stand up into your purpose, stand up into your assignment. You are an apostle, meaning that you are a sent one of the gospel of Jesus Christ, and go and meet this guy. That's exactly what happened. This is this, this, this, this, this is desert. So he arose again, he obeyed the instruction of the angel. He arose and went, and behold, a man of Ethiopia, an Enoch of great authority under Candace, the queen of Ethiopians, who are charge of all the treasury. So Philip, an apostle of Jesus Christ, was instructed by the angel for him to arise and meet somebody for that person to know Jesus Christ. Wow, you see how important it is that God is saying, Arise, Anna. You're sleeping, arise, Brahim, you are sleeping, spiritual sleeping, physical sleeping, financial sleeping, relational sleeping, arise now. Another area to arise into your presence, into your presence that is to come into a scene, to appear, to become visible. Some of us we have the gifts, we have the potential. Our church, we have power, but it's as if we're not visible in this area. But the prayers that God helps us to arise into presence, help us to arise into visibility so that people will see our light and come. Look what it says. Isaiah chapter 60, verse 1. Most times we quote this verse when it comes to arise. Look what it says. Isaiah chapter 60, verse 1. Arise and shine. For your light has come, for the glory of God is risen upon you. So for you to arise and shine, because when you arise and shine, you are you are you penetrate light, people are able to see just like the sun. So you arise into a presence, into visibility, arise and shine, for your light has come. Who is that light? Jesus, he is the light of the world. So, oh God, so that means that we should arise and shine because the light is here, and the glory of the Lord is upon us. So we need to shine as a church, we need to shine as individuals. Now, arise into presence, Jesus in Malachi chapter 4, verse 2, he says, But to you who fear my name, the Son of righteousness shall arise. Light again, light. He says, The Son of righteousness shall arise, and Jesus is the Son of righteousness, he is light. He will arise with healing in his wings, and you shall go out and grow fat.

unknown

Wow.

Arise To Pray And Plead

SPEAKER_00

So if Jesus, the son of righteousness, shall arise, he will bring what healing, and you and I will grow fat and healthy because he manifested himself. Now arise, arise to pray, arise to pray, arise to pursue. This is when it comes when when when you're sick and tired of being sick and tired, that's the time that God is expecting you to arise. Do you know that? Oh God, oh God. Let me read, let me read Jeremiah chapter 31, verse 6. For there shall be a day when the watchmen will cry on Mount Ephraim. Wow, that is the ministers. It will be a day when the watchmen will cry. Arise! Let us go up to Zion to the Lord our God. So for them to go up to Zion, they have to do what they have to arise. Arise in prayer, arise in pursuit of God. Arise. Let us go to Mount Zion to the Lord our God. Lamentations chapter 2, verse 19. It says, Arise, cry out in the night.

unknown

Wow.

SPEAKER_00

At the beginning of the watches, pour out your heart like water before the face of the Lord. So you arise in prayer. You arise in pursuing God. Most of us were not arising and pursuing God. We are arising and pursuing the Canadian dollar. But God is saying, Arise in prayer, arise and pursue. Arise and pour out your heart to Him. Arise and lift up your hands towards Him. Wow. For the life of your young children who faint from hunger at the head of every street. There was a famine going on. There was hunger going on. And God is saying that, guys, I can stop this hunger if you arise in prayer. If you arise, oh my God, if you arise to seek me. Arise and cry. Cry out to me. Arise in prayer. Arise intersecession. For God to answer. He said, Arise, cry out in the night. Wow. Rise up at night and pour out your concerns to God. Micah 6, verse 1. Arise in prayer. Hear now what the Lord says. This is now God speaking. Arise, plead your case before the mountains and let the hills hear your voice.

unknown

Wow.

Arise To Build A Personal Altar

Arise With Urgency For Such A Time

SPEAKER_00

God is saying, Arise, plead your case to the mountains. Some of us, our issues are not severe. That's why we don't shakara when we come to church. If you're desperate, nobody has to tell you to arise. You will be walking, you'll be God, you'll be dancing. God, you won't joke. Because while you are, you you are in a desperate situation. Desperate for God, desperate for anointing, desperate for victory, desperate for breakthrough, desperate for healing. It takes what for you to arise, for God to command you to arise. So God commanded, saying, Arise, plead, plead. There's no way you will plead if you don't arise. That's a powerful word. It means to arise, means to take action to accomplish something. It's a call of action. God has to call you to arise. He said, Arise in prayer, arise in intercession, arise in supplication, arise in petition to me. Speak to the mountains. And finally, arise to perform. That is Genesis chapter 35, verse 1, with regards to Jacob. Arise to perform in a sense to carry out something. Look what it says in Genesis chapter 35, verse 1. Then God said to Jacob, Arise again. God spoke to Abraham, arise, spoke to Joshua, arise. So all the men that God used, God asked them to arise. So if you want God to use you, God is going to ask you to arise. The reason why you're not doing anything for God because God has not spoken to you to arise. So God is saying to Jacob, Jacob, arise, go up to Bethel and dwell there. And make an altar there to God, who appeared to you when you fled from the face of Esau, your brother. Then and Jacob said to his household and unto all who were with him, put away the foreign gods that are among you. Purify yourself, change your garments. Then let us arise and go to battle. If God instructs you to arise, let's say God instructs our pastor to arise. She has the right to instruct every member, every minister for them to arise. Because she can't be the only one to arise. If you are the head of the household, you instruct your entire family member for them to arise. Because God is asking you, the man, to arise. So ask your wife, your children for them to arise to go to battle. A place of what? An altar. To perform what? A ritual. So you have to arise to offer sacrifices. That's why witches and wizards, at this particular time at 12 o'clock, they arise to perform their rituals. But we as Christians we are sleeping. They arise at night. They arise at night and go to their altars. So God said, Jacob, arise and return to beta and offer a sacrifice to me. Make an altar. Arise and make an altar for your family. Arise and make a personal altar between you and God. Who's gonna do for you? Arise! Stop being a Christian who slumbers, who's lukewarm. Arise in your own personal closet, arise in your own personal spiritual life. Arise to have a personal altar. Arise to have a personal altar for your family. That's exactly what Jacob did. He arise to make an altar to God. Now I'll finish up with um Gideon and then the Lord, David asking the Lord to arise. Judges chapter 7, verse um 9. It says, It happened on the same night that the Lord said to him, That is Gideon, arise, go down. This is to arise to prevail, to arise to win battles, to arise to conquer. Because sometimes we need to arise to have victory. This is an example. God is instructing um Gideon. He said, Gideon, I want you to arise, go down against the camp. Because Gideon didn't want to do it, but God did what he spoke. Arise, arise. Wow. When God speaks, you will stand up. When God speaks, it will happen. So God said, Gideon, arise, go down against the camp. For I have delivered it into your hand. If Gideon would have disobeyed Musumba, Gideon would have delayed his purpose, would have delayed the victory for his people. Do you know why? At times, you see, that word arise also dignity something very urgent. When God is saying that arise, don't procrastinate. Like I said, people's life are attached to God's plan for your life. You see, every human being is important. Every human being is important. People are very, very important in this life. We shouldn't take each other for granted. Amen. Why am I saying this? Mordecai informed Esther. I said, Esther, God has placed you in this position for a reason. You're not just there because of your beauty. So God can use your beauty to accomplish his purpose. That's exactly what happened with Esther. Esther wasn't just there for her beauty, God placed her there to make sure that a wicked man trying to annihilate God's people. That is why the first wife, the king's wife, was rebellious. Ah, God is good. So Monica was saying that Esther, if you remain silent, oh God, let me read it for you. Esther chapter 4, verse 14. Because this has to do with arise. For if you remain completely silent at this time, hey, I said before that when God says arise, it's for a time sensitive matter. Ha hey, when God is telling you to arise, don't procrastinate, don't give God excuses. It's for your own healing, it's for your own breakthrough. When God is saying arise, Joshua, God said, Joshua, arise. God said, Abraham, arise. Joshua, there's no time to waste. It's your time. Moses is dead. Now, Esther. He says, If you remain, again, if you don't arise, you do what? You remain. If you don't arise, you do what? You remain. You see, if you don't arise, you remain in your problems. You remain in mediocrity. You remain in sluggishness, but you have to arise. He says, if you remain completely silent at this time, to not arise is also to be quiet, to be passive. Just come to church. You see things are not working out. You just go have your seat. No. To arise is to get involved, get active. He said, if you remain completely silent at this time, at this time, upper room ministry, at this time, at this time in this world, at this time, you cannot, you cannot, you can at this time, the way the world is, there's no way you can remain sitting. You'll be a fool to be sitting, folding your hands without God. Ha ha. The enemy will slap you in the face. At this time, that the world that we are in, this wicked world, there's no way you can remain the same way. There's no way. You have to be prayerful. You have to double your prayer life. It says, if you remain completely silent at this time, relief and deliverance will arise for the Jews.

From another place. So, Esther, don't think because of your beauty. Don't think because you're in a place of power and position. God put you there for a reason, for a purpose. And this is the time now, Esther, for you to do what? To arise, Esther. Monica was warning her. Esther, don't be too cocky. This is the time now for such a time like this. If you remain silent, Esther, fine, it's okay. We're not going to depend on you because you're so beautiful, you're in the king's palace. You think that no, no, no, no, no. But if you remain silent, you know what God is going to do? God, you see, if if you see, oh God, you are replaceable, man of God. You are irreplaceable, woman of God. The day when God humbled me, hey, say Brian, you are replaceable. Everyone is replaceable. Jesus said, if you choose not to worship me, I can even get the stones to worship me. I'm telling you, you are what? You are replaceable. So stop your nonsense, Shakara. Don't give God Shakarah. When God calls you, say yes, sir. Because God works with time sensitiveness.

Most of us we missed it when God is speaking to you. I don't know how God is going to talk to you to arise. But there's a time stamp on that. We don't want to miss it at all. And I'm very serious. We don't want to miss it for such a time like this. And then he says, But you and your father's house will perish.

Wow. Wow.

Is it Esther? Is he wow? If you don't arise when people's life are attached to you, you will also perish. You will also perish. Yet, who knows? Yet, who knows whether you have come to the kingdom for such a time as this?

Tell God To Arise For You

SPEAKER_00

Who knows? You think you're the one that plans your own life? No, you don't plan your life. You don't control your life. God controls it. God tells you when to do something, God tells you what to do. God tells you how to do. God is your boss. God is the God is in charge. So when God asks you to arise, arise. Don't question. God, arise. Give me the grace to do it. Mordecai was informing Esther. He said, Esther, you have to arise at this particular time. It's gonna be challenging. But God placed you in that position for a reason. You are the queen of the king, and you can use your influence. Wow, not your beauty, but you can use your influence of position to report a matter, an urgent matter, because God has made you for such a time like this. Do we want to miss such a time like this? No. And lastly, now David asking God to arise. Can you imagine? If God is telling us to arise, Musumba, we can also tell God to arise. Hey, I can tell God to arise. You can tell God to arise because sometimes you have prayed, you have fasted, you have suffered for too long. You have sowed seeds, you have attended services, it's as if God is far from you, it's as if God doesn't like you, it's as if God has pushed you away, it's as if God has been hard on you. But child of God, I'm here to remind you. I am here to encourage you tonight. If David can tell God to arise, you also, as a child of God in Christ Jesus, can tell God, God, arise on my behalf. You have the right to do that. Look what it says. This is where I'm gonna conclude, okay? Solomon says in 2 Chronicles chapter 6, verse 41 now, therefore, arise, O Lord God, to your resting place. Wow, this prayer, this this verse is for us as Opera Room Ministry. Solomon erected a temple for God, and now it was he's trying to dedicate this temple to God, and he's saying that God arise because you were moving from one place to another, but now God, I want you to arise into your resting place. We don't have to move the ark of the covenant in one place to another, and then people end up dying. But you know what? This is this was the desire of my father. He couldn't do it because his hands were full of blood. But me, his son, have done it, but now, God, arise into your resting place. Wow, some of us will need rest. We need rest. I ask God, God, help me to arise in my resting place. He said, Arise into your resting place, you and the heart of your strength. Let your priest, oh Lord God, be clothed with salvation and let your sense rejoice in goodness. Arise into your resting place. In David's Psalms of Prayer to the Lord, he calls and cries out for the Lord to arise for the following reasons. Number one, to save me. Said, God, arise to save me. You can cry out to God, God, arise and save me. You can cry out to God, God, arise in your anger for judgment on your enemies. You can do that. David said, God, arise in your anger for judgment on my enemies. God, arise and lift up your hand and fight for me. God, arise to confront and cast down the wicked.

David is commanding God to arise like a warrior. God, like a warrior, God, like a judge. He said, God, arise to deliver the life of the psalm is from the wicked. He said, God, arise with your sword and deliver me from the wicked. God, arise to stand up for my help. Oh my god, child of God. You need God to arise to stand up for your help. He says, God, arise to judge the earth. God, arise and let my enemies be scattered. We are all familiar with this verse. Let God arise and let my enemies be scattered. The only way your enemies can be scattered, if God is sitting down, your enemies will not be scattered. So for your enemies to be scattered, God has to do what? Arise. Am I speaking? God has to arise. He said, God, arise to let those who aid God flee before Him.

That is David commanding God to arise. We are going to pray that God, you will arise on my behalf. You will arise on this case. You will arise in operal ministry. You will arise in this long standing problem in my life. God has to arise. Are you not tired? There's something that is battling you, something that is troubling you for so many years. You have to speak that God arise on my behalf. Even God Himself spoke to Himself to arise. For who? I like this. Psalm 12, verse 5. It says, The Lord Himself will arise to set the poor and the needy. Oh my God. Oh my God. God Himself will take the initiative to arise to set the poor and the needy in the safety for which they yearn for. If you're poor in spirit, if you're poor financially, if you're in need, God Himself will arise because of your yearning, because of your desire, because of your cry, He will arise. You don't even have to command him. Just because of your yearning, he sees your heart cry and he will arise and he will do what? Free you from the oppression. He will arise and free you from the oppression.
